British Royal Zara Phillips Wednesday rugby star Mark Tindall

Fan of Great Britain broke its funny hats for another royal wedding on Saturday as the oldest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, Zara Phillips, married the England rugby star Mike Tindall in Edinburgh, Scotland.



The royal wedding is the second Great Britain has seen this year, but this issue was not accompanied by the pomp and circumstance that Prince William and Kate Middleton enjoyed in April. Click here for wedding photos!

Instead, it was a low-key, private ceremony and was not on television, according to the Associated Press.

Phillips, 30, is 13th in line of succession, but does not use a royal title. She is a first class rider, to compete in the 2012 Olympics. Tindall she met in 2003 in Australia during England's triumphant World Cup campaign in Rugby, the AP reported. Tindall proposed that he and Phillips curled on a couch at home watching a movie.

Phillips wore a dress of ivory silk veil and long-term by British designer Stewart Parvin, who is one of the queen's favorite designers. She wore Jimmy Choo shoes and a Greek key tiara lent to her mother Princess Anne

Bride's father, Mark Phillips, took her to Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, a 17th century church as the crowd waved and cheered. The bride waved back briefly to the crowd.

The bride arrived five minutes late for the service, which was led by the Rev. Neil Gardner.

Among the guests of the newly married Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton and Prince Harry. Middleton wore a coat printed cream-colored dress and hat.

Other guests wore colorful hats, such as the British fashion. Katherine Kelly, the star of British soap opera Coronation Street, was among the first guests to arrive. He wore a bright tangerine-colored hat with a pink ribbon and a bag of tangerine to match. Accessories enlivened their long and loose, pink ballerina dress.

The private reception was held at the Scottish residence of Queen Elizabeth, the Palace of Holyrood House.
